Unbalanced Load Leads to Heavy Towing

Dumpster Falls Over and Needs Heavy Towing

Last week, our heavy towing team was contacted by a tile factory in Clarksville as there had been some trouble with one of their trucks inside the warehouse. The truck was hauling clay to make tiles for the factory. On one side of the dumpster, the clay didn’t release as it was full of moisture. The enormous difference in weight caused the truck to fall over to its side and we were called in.

The heavy towing team arrived at the tile plant with a heavy wrecker.  We disconnected the dump trailer from the cab to make it easier to upright.  After placing winch cables with hooks onto secure holds we winched it upright.  A flatbed was waiting to take everything away. A great job well done by our heavy towing team and thanks for sharing the photos! What’s next?

Details: Tile factory calls for heavy towing services as truck falls on its side

Jones Brothers heavy towing & services was contacted by Florim USA tile plant factory. The tile factory needed heavy towing services as a truck had fallen over to its side while hauling clay inside the factory. Our dispatcher called in our heavy towing technician to manage the tow and he headed to the tile plant straight away, bringing along one of Jones Brothers heavy towing trucks. Our heavy towing technician headed to Wilma Rudolph Blvd and US-79 N and arrived at Florim USA Tile Plant on 300 International Blvd in Clarksville 15 minutes later. Our heavy towing technician arrived to find that the trailer had turned and he assessed the damage. Our heavy towing technician backed up with the heavy wrecker and released the winch. Our heavy towing technician managed the process and instructed the client to remove the excess clay in the trailer. Once the clay was removed, our heavy towing technician disconnected the trailer from the cab. He then took the winch as well as some block and tackle devices to pull the trailer upright. After the cables were secured, our heavy towing technician slowly pulled it up 2 feet. He then raised it a little further. Finally, he raised it past a 45 degree angle and the trailer tool on its wheels. Our heavy towing technician then packed up and said his goodbyes. Another smooth recovery by our heavy towing team.  Well done!
